The University of Cincinnati men's and women's track and field teams are on the road again as a small group of multi-athletes will head to Terre Haute, Ind., to compete in the Gibson Invitational while the rest of the team heads to Gainesville, Fla., to compete in the Tom Jones Memorial meet this weekend.

CINCINNATI — The University of Cincinnati men's and women's track and field teams are on the road again as a small group of multi-athletes will head to Terre Haute, Ind., to compete in the Gibson Invitational while the rest of the team heads to Gainesville, Fla., to compete in the Tom Jones Memorial meet this weekend.

DATE AND TIMES
The Tom Jones Memorial is hosted by the University of Florida and will take place on April 6-8, 2023, at James G. Pressly Stadium, on the Percy Beard Track. The meet will begin Friday, April 14, with field events beginning at 2 p.m. followed by running events starting at 5 p.m. On Saturday, April 15, field events will start at 10 a.m., while running events begin at noon. RESULTS
The meet will be timed by Half-Mile Timing and fans can follow along with the action via live results found here. Final results from the meet will be published on the Gobearcats.com track and field webpage.
 
WATCH
The Tom Jones Memorial Meet will be broadcasted on SEC Network+. Both days of the meet will be streamed.

Sophomores Dominique Hall and Justin Abrams and freshmen Faith Kingsley and Lauren Barnes will head to Terre Haute, Ind., to compete in the Gibson Invitational hosted by Indiana State University.
 
DATES AND TIMES
The meet will take place April 13-15, 2023 at the Gibson Track & Field Complex. The multi-events will be held on Thursday and Friday beginning at 10:00 a.m., each day. A complete list of events and start times can be found here.

USTFCCCA TEAM RANKINGS
In the latest USTFCCCA national rankings, the UC women's team is ranked eighth in the Great Lakes region and sixth in the American Athletic Conference. The men's team currently holds the third spot in the AAC and the 10th spot in the Great Lakes Region.
 
In the latest USTFCCCA event squad rankings, the UC men's shot put squad boasts a top-10 ranking. The squad ranks fourth in the nation with a combined distance of 71.59m/234'11" and is led by senior Fred Moudani with his record mark of 19.31m/63'4.25".
 
NCAA INDIVIDUAL RANKINGS
Senior Rylee Penn is currently the highest-ranked Bearcat in the NCAA. Her Cincinnati 1,500-meter record time of 4:10.13 is ranked second in the nation and leads the American Athletic Conference.

 Moudani was named AAC Men's Field Athlete of the Week on Tuesday for his record-setting performance at the Tennessee Invite. He broke the Cincinnati program outdoor shot put record with a throw of 19.31m/63'4.25". Moudani now holds the indoor and outdoor shot-put records at Cincinnati. His throw is currently the 12th best in the NCAA and the best mark in The American this outdoor season.

Sophomore Annika Kinley is tied for 19th in the NCAA with her high jump mark of 1.78m / 5'-10" and ranks seventh in the NCAA East Region. Her leap also the second-best mark in AAC this season.
 
Junior Giovanni Gutierrez's shot put throw of 18.05m/59'-2.75" holds a ranking of 17th in the NCAA East Region and leads the AAC.
