Bearcats See Improvement on Second Day of AAC Championship

The University of Cincinnati women's golf team saw improvement in the second round of the American Athletic Conference Championship on Tuesday at Southern Hills Golf Club in Brooksville, Fla.

BROOKSVILLE, Fla. – The University of Cincinnati women's golf team saw improvement in the second round of the American Athletic Conference Championship on Tuesday at Southern Hills Golf Club in Brooksville, Fla.
 
Cincinnati posted a 299 in the second round to sit in eighth place with 18 holes to go. Live coverage of Wednesday's final round will air on ESPN+. 
 
Graduate student Katie Hallinan continues to lead the Bearcats with a two-over 146. She carded a one-over 73 in the second round behind two birdies and 13 pars. She is currently tied for 19th on the player leaderboard. 
 
Junior Paola Rosario parred a team-best 14 holes to steady the Bearcats. She saw a three-spot improvement to be tied for 32nd. 
 
Junior Sadie Pan (T36th) carded a 77 in the second round while freshman Brooke Patterson (T38th) posted a 75 to improve four spots. Sophomore Julia Rabadam notched three birdies on the back-nine to close out the second round in 48th. 
 
Cincinnati will tee off at 9 a.m. on Wednesday in the final round.
