Bearcats Continue Play in AAC Championship

BELLEAIR, Fla. -- The No. 40 Cincinnati men's golf team kept its same score from Friday with a 4-over 284, and it enters Sunday's final round sixth at the AAC Championships.

Sunday's final round will also feature ESPN+ coverage on the final holes. Ryan Ford remains tied for eighth with a 1-under 139, while Sam Jean jumped to 11th with a 2-under 68 that marked a five-stroke improvement from Friday. He had four birdies over his first seven holes, while Ford had three over his final four. Jean now has 17 rounds this season in the 60s.

Rylan Wotherspoon is in the hunt as well at 12th. William McDonald (31st) and Ty Gingerich (35th) round out the scorecard. The Bearcats have had three tournaments this year in which they had their best round on the final day and are only eight strokes back of the No. 2 spot.

Houston's 8-under 272 on the opening day has it ahead 10 strokes of second-place SMU, despite the Mustangs' 10-stroke jump from Friday.
