CINCINNATI – University of Cincinnati redshirt sophomore Kerrington Cross received National Player of the Week recognition from Collegiate Baseball on Monday.
The third baseman belted four home runs in Cincinnati's three-game series against UCF over the weekend.
Overall, he batted .375 (6-for-16) in four starts last week with eight RBI, six runs scored and five extra-base hits. He finished with a .412 on-base percentage and 1.188 slugging percentage.
Cross is one of nine NCAA Division I baseball student-athletes to be named Collegiate Baseball National Player of the Week for games played May 8-14. This is the first national honor of Cross' career.
