CINCINNATI— The University of Cincinnati women's soccer team (1-3-1) continues its recent road trip as the team heads to Indianapolis, Ind., to take on Butler (2-4-0) in a Thursday night matchup.
The match will kick off at 7 p.m. ET from inside the Bud and Jackie Sellick Bowl and will be streamed on FloFC. A subscription to the streaming service is required to watch the game. Fans can also follow along with the live stats found here.
The match will be the Bearcats' final road game before returning home to face No. 22-ranked Pittsburgh on Sept. 10.
// THE MATCH UP
The match will be the 10th meeting between the two programs and the first in 22 years. The Bearcats lead the overall series 5-2-2 and lead the Bulldogs 4-1-0 when the match is played in Indianapolis, Ind. The last time the teams squared off against each other was in 2001 when the Bearcats fell to Butler 1-0 inside Gettler Stadium. The last time the Bearcats made the trip to Indianapolis was in 2000 when UC took a 3-2 victory.
Fun Fact: Out of the nine matches played between the two programs, four have gone into overtime. The Bearcats hold a record of 2-0-2 in those four matches.

The Bearcats recorded a season-high 13 shots but suffered a 1-0 road defeat to Michigan on Sunday at U-M Soccer Stadium. Junior forward Laura Zemberyova led Cincinnati with a season-high three shots. Goalkeeper Anna Rexford recorded four saves on 17 shots faced.
