CINCINNATI — The University of Cincinnati women's soccer team (1-3-2) returns to Gettler Stadium on Sunday to host No. 22 Pittsburgh (6-1-0).

The match will kick off at 1 p.m. ET and will be streamed on ESPN+. A subscription to the streaming service is required to watch the game. Fans can also follow along with the live stats found here.

All UC home soccer games are free for fans to attend. Sunday's match is staff appreciation day. Staff can show their Bearcat Card at the marketing table to receive a UC goodie bag, while supplies last.

// THE MATCH UP
The match will be the fifth meeting between the two programs. The Bearcats lead the overall series 2-1-1 and lead the Panthers 1-0-1 when the match is played inside Gettler Stadium. The last time the teams squared off against each other was last season when Cincinnati suffered a 2-0 loss in Pittsburgh. The last time the match was played in Gettler, Vanessa Giles led the Bearcats to a second-half comeback to draw Pitt 2-2 in 2017.

Fun Fact: This season, the Bearcats are 0-1 against ranked teams after falling to then-ranked No. 17 Michigan State in the team's season opener.  The last time the Bearcats defeated a ranked team at home in the regular season was in 2015 when UC knocked off No. 18 USF, 1-0.

//LAST TIME OUT
 Junior forward Laura Zemberyova and freshman Emma Gioffre each scored goals as Cincinnati tied Butler, 2-2. The goals from Zemberyova and Gioffre were their first scores as Bearcats.

Down 2-1 in the 87th minute, standout freshman Gioffre picked the perfect time to score her first collegiate goal. Junior midfielder Fran Stables bent one into the box and found a crashing Gioffre who headed in the equalizing goal.

// SCOUTING THE COMPETITION
After winning its first six matches of the season, Pitt suffered its first loss of the season at  No.21 Xavier 2-1 on Thursday. Pitt has been ranked in every poll this season, coming in as high as No. 14 in the preseason poll. Sarah Schupansky leads the Panthers in both goals (6) and assists (4). Pitt is led by head coach Randy Waldrum, who is in his sixth season at the helm of the Panthers and holds a record of 51-40-7. Waldrum holds a career record of 450-148-36 across 30 seasons of coaching at four different schools.

// BARRON REWRITES HISTORY
Graduate student defender Ashley Barron played the full 90 for the fourth straight game against Butler. She now has totaled 5,948 career minutes played and will look to join elite company on Sunday as only six Bearcats have reached the 6,000-minute career threshold in program history.

// RANKING REXFORD
Senior goalkeeper Anna Rexford currently is tied for first in the Big 12 in saves per game (4.33) and ranks third in total saves (26) through six games into the season.

// UP NEXT
Cincinnati will begin conference play as the team will head to Manhattan, Kan., to face Kansas State. This will be the first Big 12 match for the Bearcats since joining the conference on July 1. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. ET and will be streamed on ESPN+ and Big 12 Now.
