CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati women's tennis team opens their fall season this weekend when the Bearcats travel to Cambridge, Mass. for the Harvard Fall Classic.
Due to precautions ahead of inclement weather, action has been moved inside to the Murr Center. The three-day tournament will follow a hidden dual format and run Friday through Sunday, Sept. 15-17.
In addition to Cincinnati and host Harvard, the four-team field will be rounded out by Boston University and Boston College.
The Bearcats return four letterwinners from last season, highlighted by junior classmates Elizabeth Pendergast and Callie Flanagan, and welcome in a pair of transfers and three freshmen.
Following the weekend, Cincinnati makes the short trip to Dayton for the Flyer Invitational on Sept. 22-23.
