TicketsCINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati Department of Athletics kicked off Big 12 Homecoming on Thursday morning with the Be You Women's Empowerment series, presented by All State.
The Big 12 partnered with the iconic Sports Illustrated Swimsuit to bring students the Be You Women's Empowerment series, presented by Maybelline. The event included panel discussions focused on mental health awareness and was hosted by notable Cincinnati women leaders and SI Swimsuit models Christen Harper, Sixtine Rouyre and Ellie Thurmann.
The first panel featured Student Body President Taylor Morgan, Black Student Athlete Association President and track & field student-athlete Hannah Jackson, IEC President and Swimming student-athlete Jessica Davis, former swim student-athlete Enna Selmanovic and Head Women's Basketball Coach Katrina Merriweather.
The second panel featured 2022 SI Swim co-rookie of the year Christen Harper and 2023 SI Swim Rookies Sixtine Rouyre and Ellie Thurmann.
The festivities also included one-of-a-kind experiences such as a beauty bar, giveaways, community/campus partner networking and the chance to get a professional headshot taken.
