TicketsCINCINNATI – The Big 12 Conference released its league slate Tuesday, completing Cincinnati's full 2023-24 women's basketball schedule with dates for the Bearcats' 18-game inaugural Big 12 campaign.
Within the Bearcats' conference slate are nine home contests inside Fifth Third Arena and eight more versus programs that advanced to the 2023 NCAA Tournament. For the second consecutive year, the Big 12 had 60 percent of its teams selected for the NCAA Tournament and sent 90 percent to postseason play, both marks which led the nation.
90 percent of Big 12 teams finished with winning records in 2022-23, a feat that no other conference has accomplished since the formation of the league in 1994.
Cincinnati will face Kansas, Kansas State, Oklahoma and Texas Tech for the first time in program history.
The Bearcats' conference opener will be a home matchup with Kansas State on Dec. 30. The start of the new year has Cincinnati on the road for a pair of contests at West Virginia on Jan. 3 and Oklahoma on Jan. 6.
Following the road trip, Cincinnati battles UCF and BYU, starting with the Knights at home on Jan. 10 prior to traveling to take on the Cougars on Jan. 13. Cincinnati tips off with West Virginia for the second time in as many weeks on the road on Jan. 20 and hosts Oklahoma State on Jan. 24.
Cincinnati will make a trip to the Lone Star State to face 2022-23 regular-season champion Texas on Jan. 27 and Houston on Jan. 30. The Bearcats welcome Texas Tech on Feb 3.
The Bearcats hit the road to face UCF on Feb. 7 before returning home to take on BYU on Feb. 10.
UC battles 2023 WNIT Champion Kansas in a midweek contest on Feb. 14.
Cincinnati plays three of its next four games at home, starting with consecutive tilts against TCU on Feb. 17 and Oklahoma on Feb. 20. The Bearcats make the trip to face Texas Tech on Feb. 24 before welcoming Baylor on Feb. 27.
Cincinnati closes out the regular season when it travels to face 2022-23 conference tournament champions Iowa State on March 2.
The 2024 Phillips 66 Big 12 Women's Basketball Championship is scheduled for March 7-12 at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Mo. It will be the first time in the conference's history that the women's postseason tournament is held at the T-Mobile Center, which will serve as the host venue through 2027.
