CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati women's tennis team travels to participate in the Hoosier Classic in Bloomington, Ind. this weekend.
 
The three-day event will be held at the IU Varsity Tennis Courts Friday through Sunday, Sept. 29-Oct. 1 and follow a hidden dual format.
 
In addition to Cincinnati and host Indiana, the Bearcats face their largest field to this point of the fall as Purdue, Xavier, Miami (OH) and Northern Illinois will round out the six-team field.
 
Four Bearcats took part in the Flyer Invitational last week and overall posted seven singles victories and four more wins in doubles action over the two-day event.
 
Cincinnati hosts its annual UC/Pam Whitehead Invitational next Friday and Saturday, Oct. 6-7 at the Trabert-Talbert Tennis Center. Admission is free for the event.
