CINCINNATI – New York Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and safety Bryan Cook faced off in a primetime Sunday Night Football matchup inside MetLife Stadium to highlight Week 4 of NFL action for former Bearcats.
The Sunday Night Football game totaled nearly 27 million viewers, the most-viewed game since Super Bowl LVII – which featured three former Bearcats.
Gardner totaled three tackles and played every defensive snap for the New York Jets, while Kelce led the Chiefs in receiving with six receptions for 60 yards and Cook totaled a pair of tackles to help the defending Super Bowl champs edge the Jets, 23-20.
Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce paved the way for the Eagles offense to total 415 yards and three touchdowns and Washington Commanders safety Darrick Forrest tallied seven tackles. The game went into overtime where the Eagles would narrowly prevail 34-31, keeping them as one of the league's two remaining undefeated teams.
