Bearcats Begin Marilynn Smith Sunflower Invitational Monday

The University of Cincinnati women's golf team remains on the road for the Marilynn Smith Sunflower Invitational, hosted by Kansas State, on Monday and Tuesday in Manhattan, Kan.

CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati women's golf team remains on the road for the Marilynn Smith Sunflower Invitational, hosted by Kansas State, on Monday and Tuesday in Manhattan, Kan.
 
The action will take place at the par-72, 6,6367-yard Colbert Hills Golf Course. Live scoring will be available at GolfStat.
 
Paola Rosario, Brooke Patterson, Winnie Chiang, Mar García Jiménez and Sadie Pan will make up the Bearcats' lineup.
 
The two-day tournament features a nine-team field that includes host Kansas State, Bradley, BYU, Charlotte, Incarnate Word (3 individuals), Middle Tennessee, Oral Roberts, Sam Houston and Rutgers.
 
Rosario led the Bearcats last weekend at the Red Raider Invitational in Lubbock, Texas. She recorded her second consecutive top 20 finish, placing 18th with a three-round score of 222. She owns a team-best 72.83 stroke average through two tournaments.
