TicketsCINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati women's tennis team concluded a weekend of fall competition at the Hoosier Classic on Sunday.
Cincinnati traveled four student-athletes and played a hidden dual format event as a part of a six-team field.
Overall, Cincinnati posted six court victories in singles action and one more in doubles over the three-day event. Freshman Gabrielle Guenther totaled three court wins with a singles win on each day of play and paired up with fellow freshman Sakurako Watanabe to earn the Bearcats' doubles win.
Cincinnati hosts its annual UC/Pam Whitehead Invitational this Friday and Saturday, Oct. 6-7 at the Trabert-Talbert Tennis Center. Admission is free for the event.
