CINCINNATI – Atlanta Falcons quarterback Desmond Ridder stayed undefeated at home and Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce helped the Eagles stay undefeated overall to highlight Week 5 of NFL action for former Bearcats.
Ridder now holds an impressive 31-0 record at home in his collegiate and NFL career after the Falcons took down the Houston Texans, 21-19. Ridder completed 28 of 37 passes for a career-high 329 yards, one touchdown and got into the endzone with a rushing touchdown. Also in the matchup, Texans running back Mike Boone saw snaps on special teams, where he recorded a tackle.
Jason Kelce captained the Eagles to a 23-14 win over the Los Angeles Rams, improving them to 5-0 and one of two remaining undefeated teams. Kelce cleared the way for 454 total yards and didn't allow a sack.
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce brought in a season-high 10 receptions for 67 yards and a touchdown. Safety Bryan Cook tallied three tackles and a fumble recovery in a 27-20 win over the Minnesota Vikings, keeping the Chiefs atop the AFC West.
