Cincinnati Athletics Announces Street Closures for Saturday’s Homecoming Parade and Football Game

Road Closures Map and Parking Directions (45 minutes before kickoff)

CINCINNATI – Cincinnati Athletics is asking fans to be aware of road closures on Saturday morning and to plan accordingly when arriving for the football game against Iowa State at Nippert Stadium (12 p.m. ET). 
 
Due to the annual Homecoming Parade (8 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.), Calhoun St. will be closed from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., while Clifton Ave. will be closed from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. 
 
Additionally, Northbound Jefferson Ave. will be also closed from 11:15 a.m. ET until pedestrian traffic subsides to allow for a safe path for fans to walk from Vine St. to the game.
 
Vehicles driving to the stadium Westbound on William Howard Taft Rd. will not be able to turn right onto Jefferson Ave. for this duration.
 
Fans parking in the garages nearest the stadium (Calhoun, Corry, CCM and Varsity Village) will be able to take the below alternate routes to arrive to their garages after 11:15 a.m.
 
This street closures 45 minutes before each game will be in place for the remainder of Cincinnati Football game days in 2023.

• 71-South – Take the MLK Exit (3B on right), Take Right on MLK, Left on Jefferson Ave., Right on Corry Blvd.
• 71-North – Take Reading Road Exit, Left on Taft St., Right on Dennis St., Left on Corry Blvd.
• 75-South - Take Hopple St. Exit, Left on to MLK Blvd., Right on Jefferson Ave., Right on Corry Blvd.
• 75-North – Take Hopple St. Exit (Exit 3), Right on to MLK Blvd., Right on Jefferson Ave., Right on Corry Blvd.
• From Downtown – Take Vine St., Left on Taft St., Right on Dennis St., Left on Corry Blvd.

 
Calhoun Garage – Must Enter from Calhoun St.
If you're coming from:

• 71-South – Take the MLK Exit (3B on right), Take Right on MLK, Left on Jefferson Ave., Right on Calhoun St., Right into Calhoun Garage or Take Taft Exit which turns into Calhoun St., right into Calhoun Garage
• 71-North – Take Reading Road Exit (Exit 2 on Left), Left on Taft St., Right into Calhoun Garage
• 75-South - Take Hopple St. Exit (Exit 3, Left on to MLK Blvd., Right on Jefferson Ave., Right on Calhoun St., Right into Calhoun Garage
