Women's Tennis Set to Play in The USTA/ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships

The University of Cincinnati women's tennis team will travel seven athletes to compete in the USTA/ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships over the next five days in Knoxville, Tenn.

CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati women's tennis team will travel seven athletes to compete in the USTA/ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships over the next five days in Knoxville, Tenn.
 
The event will be held at Tennessee's Barksdale Stadium from Thursday-Monday, Oct. 19-23 and feature both a singles and doubles flight with a main and consolation draw. Victoire de Samucewicz, Callie Flanagan, Rozalia Gruszczynska, Gabrielle Guenther, Isabel Pacheco, Morgan Pyrz and Sakurako Watanabe will represent the Bearcats over the event.
 
Cincinnati returns to action after hosting its annual fall UC/Pam Whitehead Invitational on Oct. 6-7. The Bearcats compiled an event-best win total in both doubles and singles action, posting eight doubles wins, including a pair of sweeps, and 15 more in singles.
