CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati swimming and diving program welcomes West Virginia to Keating Aquatic Center for a two-day dual this weekend.
On Friday, diving will begin at 5 p.m. with swim to follow at 6 p.m. The meet will resume on Saturday with the diving portion starting at 10 a.m. and swimming at 11 a.m.

Cincinnati and West Virginia faced off in a dual last season on Oct. 21-22 in Morgantown W.V. The Bearcats collected a combined 12 event wins but fell short to the Mountaineers.
Senior Hunter Gubeno led the men's team with three event wins in the 100-yard backstroke, 200-yard backstroke and 200-yard individual medley.
On the women's side, sophomores Ella Chown and Grace Gavin claimed top spots in the 100-yard butterfly and 100-yard backstroke, respectively.
Cincinnati went on to sweep the 200-yard backstroke after sophomore Lily Jones placed first overall with a time of 2:02.09.
West Virginia is the only Big 12 opponent Cincinnati will face during the regular season.

Senior Drew Hawthorne and sophomore Grace Gavin led the way as UC swept Kenyon College last weekend in Gambier, Ohio.
The men's team defeated Kenyon, 183-54, while the women's team won, 178.5-64.5. Cincinnati recorded 25 total event wins.
Hawthorne notched first-place wins in the 50-yard (20.62) and 100-yard (45.24) freestyle while Gubeno earned two first-place marks in the 200-yard individual medley (1:51.16) and the 200-yard backstroke (1:47.01).
Freshman Lindi Worrell earned her first Bearcat victory in the 500-yard freestyle, recording a time of 5:03.93. She also placed third in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:54.88.

The Bearcats will resume competition on Nov. 16-18 when they travel to Columbus for the Ohio State Invitational.
