CINCINNATI— The University of Cincinnati men's and women's cross county postseason continues as the Bearcats head to Madison, Wis., on Friday for the 2023 NCAA Great Lakes Regionals.

The meet is hosted by Wisconsin and will be held at the Thomas Zimmer Championship Cross Country Course. The women's 6k race will begin at 12:30 p.m. ET followed by the men's 10k race at 1:30 p.m. ET.  Fans can stay up-to-date with all of the action via live results.

The Great Lakes Regional is one of nine being held nationwide to help determine the qualifying field for the 2023 NCAA Cross Country Championships. The top two teams in each regional secure automatic bids to the championship. The first four regional finishers not from an automatic qualifying or at-large team also secure an auto-bid to the championships.

If a team does not secure an automatic bid, it will have to rely on the NCAA DI Cross Country Subcommittee to select it as one of the 13 at-large teams. Only two individual at-larges are selected, making a strong regional performance pivotal to advancing toward a national title. The national championships will be held on Nov.18 in Charlottesville, Va.
