WACO, Texas — The University of Cincinnati women's tennis team will travel eight athletes to compete in the Big 12 Fall Championships from Thursday through Sunday at Baylor's Hurd Tennis Center.
The event will feature both a singles and doubles flight with a main and consolation draw. Elizabeth Pendergast, Victoire de Samucewicz, Callie Flanagan, Rozalia Gruszczynska, Gabrielle Guenther, Isabel Pacheco, Morgan Pyrz and Sakurako Watanabe will represent the Bearcats at the event.
Cincinnati returns to action after competing in the USTA/ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships on Oct. 19-23. The Bearcats compiled 10 singles victories and two more in doubles action. de Samucewicz advanced to the round of 32 in the women's open singles main draw before falling in a closely contested third set.
