CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati swimming and diving program returns to action for a mid-season competition at the Ohio State Invitational in Columbus, Ohio.
The three-day competition is hosted by Ohio State University and will take place from Nov. 16-18 inside McCorkle Aquatic Center.
The weekend features host Ohio State, Cincinnati, Indiana, Louisville, Notre Dame, Ohio University (women only), Kenyon (diving only) and Cal (diving only).

Cincinnati had a historic weekend last season in Columbus, breaking three school records and recording 37 top 10 program times.
Crye had quite the meet as she swam the fastest 100-yard breaststroke (1:00.21) in program history, breaking Helena Pikhartova's (1:01.05) nine-year-old record.
The Avon, N.Y. native would also record the sixth-fastest 100-yard butterfly (53.91) in Bearcat history. In total, she recorded five UC top-10 times.
On the men's side, the 200-yard free relay team of former UC swimmer Michael Balcerak and current athletes, Jet Fuhrmann, Drew Hawthorne and Hunter Gubeno broke the program record by .55 seconds with a time of 1:19.43.

The Cincinnati women claimed a big-time 241-112 victory over West Virginia, while the men fell short to the Mountaineers, 191-162.
The team of Grace Gavin, Crye, Sonja Aarsvold and Kaylee Nagel took the women's 400-yard medley relay with a time of 3:44.02.
For the men, Hawthorne, Gubeno, Fuhrmann and Jon Osa finished second in the 400-yard freestyle relay with a time of 2:59.43.
Jessica Davis continues to shine earning two first-place wins in the 50-yard (23.36) and 100-yard freestyle (51.10).
Tommy Eaton (49.13) and Hawthorne (49.14) claimed top-two finishes in the 100-yard butterfly notching times just 0.01 apart.
