CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati women's basketball team returns home to face Tennessee State on Friday inside Fifth Third Arena. Tip-off between the Bearcats and Tigers is scheduled for 6 p.m. on ESPN+.

- Cincinnati is coming off a 65-41 win over SEC foe Kentucky on Saturday at the Paradise Jam. It marked Cincinnati's first win over an SEC opponent since Jan. 2, 2004, when the Bearcats defeated Kentucky, 60-52.
- The Bearcats are 3-3 with their only losses coming to top-25 programs – No. 17 Louisville, No. 3 Colorado and No. 10 NC State (ranking at time of game).
- Cincinnati will play at home for the first time in 15 days. The Bearcats will play four of their final five non-conference games at home.
- Cincinnati forced a season-high 21 turnovers vs. Kentucky which resulted in 14 points. The Bearcats committed a season-low nine in the win.
- Senior Jillian Hayes registered her second double-double of the season, 15th of her career, with 13 points and 10 rebounds on Saturday. It marked her 50th career game in double figures. She is averaging 11.8 points and 8.5 rebounds and is shooting 50.0% from the field. She ranks fifth in the Big 12 in double-doubles (2) and rebounds per game (8.5).
- Hayes was named to the 2023 Paradise Jam All-Tournament Team. She averaged 10.7 points and 7.0 rebounds and shot 47.8% from the field over three games in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
- Sophomore Destiny Thomas tied her career-high 13 points on 6-of-8 shooting to go along with five rebounds vs. Kentucky.
- Freshman Reagan Jackson tallied a season-high 13 points (3-3 3pt FG) vs. Kentucky. She is averaging 11.5 points and shooting 66.7% from three-point range over the past two games. She also ranks eighth in the Big 12 in free throw percentage (.800).
- Senior Malea Williams led the Bearcats vs. NC State with season highs in points (15), rebounds (7) and steals (2). She went a career-best 3-of-6 from three-point range.
- Cincinnati has made 123 trips to the free throw line this season, making 87 of its attempts (.707). The Bearcats sit fourth in the Big 12 and 69th nationally in free throws made per game (14.50).
- UC ranks 54th in the nation in three-point field goal defense, holding its opponents to 25.0% from behind the arc.
- Cincinnati will play 12 games against 10 programs that advanced to the 2023 NCAA Tournament. The Bearcats will play four of those games - Louisville, Toledo, Colorado and NC State - in the first five contests.

- Senior Jillian Hayes is 43 points away from 1,000 in her career. She is looking to become the 30th player in program history to surpass 1,000 career points.
- Hayes currently ranks fourth all-time at UC in career blocks with 105. She is 12 blocks away from a third-place tie with Anita Tersigni (1981-84) with 117.
- Hayes is also chasing top-10 marks in rebounds and free throws made. With 626 career boards, she is 48 away from a 10th-place tie with Joy Roberts (1980-83) with 674. She has made 262 free throws and needs 31 more to crack into UC's all-time top-10 list for the category (293).
- Williams is eighth all-time at UC in blocks with 69 in three seasons with the Bearcats. She has 71 total blocks in her career after recording two blocks during her freshman season at Louisville.
