CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati men's swimming and diving program swept the Big 12 weekly awards, the league announced on Tuesday.
Brogen Robinson (Swimmer), Will Claus (Diver) and Max Plumley (Newcomer) all earned weekly accolades for the first time this season.
Sophomore Brogan Robinson was named the Big 12's Men's Swimmer of the Week following a strong performance against Indiana this past weekend. He earned a second-place finish in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:00.51) and a third-place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke (55.48).
Junior diver Will Claus received Men's Diver of the Week honors after third-place finishes in the 1m and 3m dive, scoring 331.73 and 317.40, respectively. Both scores earned him NCAA Zone cuts.
Cincinnati native and freshman Max Plumley grabbed Men's Newcomer of the Week after finishing third in the 100-yard butterfly (50.60) and fourth in the 50-yard freestyle (20.88).
Plumley was also a member of the second-place 200-yard freestyle relay where his split time was 20.26.
