BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The University of Cincinnati swimming and diving program closed out its fall season with four top-ten program times/scores.
The Bearcats began the day recording the tenth-fastest women's 200-yard medley relay time in program history (1:41.82). The team consisted of Grace Gavin, Kaylee Nagel, Sonja Aarsvold, and Jessica Davis.
In the men's relays, the team of Thomas Matthew, Max Plumley, Brennan Muramatsu and Jet Fuhrmann secured a second-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle relay, recording a time of 1:23.05.
Divers junior Will Claus and sophomore Alex Givens earned NCAA Zone Cuts on the 3-meter scoring 331.7 and 324.83 respectively. Both scores are also top-ten program scores.
Freshman Langley Petersen notched a program top-ten score, recording a 273.15 on the 3-meter.
The women's individual performances were highlighted by Davis earning two top-ten program times in the 100-yard breaststroke (6th/1:01.89) and in the 200-yard individual medley (7th/2:01.39). She finished second overall in both events.
On the men's side, junior Collin Singler notched a second-place finish in the 100-yard butterfly, recording a time of 48.88.
Matthew earned another second-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 45.14.
Cincinnati would go on to fall to Indiana overall, the women scoring 93-181, while the men scored 86-189.
