CINCINNATI – Six Bearcats were invited to the 2023 NFL Scouting Combine, which will be held from Feb. 28 through March 6 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

Scott was one of the best wide receivers in the American Athletic Conference in 2022, leading UC with 54 receptions, 899 yards and nine touchdown catches en route to Second Team All-AAC accolades. He finished his career with 87 receptions for 1,438 yards and 14 touchdowns, averaging an impressive 16.5 yards per catch for his career.
Pace Jr. became Cincinnati's first-ever unanimous All-American in 2022, tallying 137 tackles, 21.5 TFLs, 10 sacks and three forced fumbles in his only season for the Bearcats after transferring from Miami (Ohio). He ranked in the Top 10 nationally in tackles (sixth), TFLs (third) and sacks (10th) and was the nation's second-highest-rated defensive player and top linebacker according to Pro Football Focus. Pace Jr. was named the AAC's Defensive Player of the Year in addition to being a finalist for the Butkus Award and Bednarik Award.
Whyle established himself as one of Cincinnati's top tight ends in school history, finishing with 88 catches for 1,062 yards and 15 touchdowns. His 15 touchdowns were a school record by a tight end. He collected All-AAC honors three times, including First Team accolades in 2022 after he tallied 32 receptions for 326 yards and three touchdowns. He also grabbed second team all-conference accolades in 2021 as he helped lead UC to the College Football Playoff and honorable mention all-league in 2020.
Tucker proved to be one of the most dynamic recent Bearcats after totaling 112 receptions for 1,433 yards and eight scores over four seasons. He was a four-year starter at kick returner, as well, scoring two kick return touchdowns, including a memorable game-changing 99-yard score at Indiana in 2021. Tucker led the AAC in kick return average (29.9) in 2020. Tucker finished with 1,670 kick return yards and a 24.9 average – both among the Top 5 in school history.
Taylor split time with his fellow postseason all-star and likely future pro, Whyle, tallying 69 receptions for 687 yards and eight touchdowns over 60 games and five seasons. Taylor memorably had four catches for 70 yards and a touchdown at Notre Dame in 2021.
Bush was a five-year contributor to the Bearcats and wrapped up his 49-game career as one of the most productive defensive backs in school history, starting for two AAC Championship teams at nickel back before moving to cornerback in 2022. He finished with nine career interceptions and 32 pass breakups.
