CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati Athletic Department hosted its first-ever "In Her Likeness" Event on April 12. The event offered over 60 female student-athletes at Cincinnati insight on career advancement, network opportunities and personal brand development from a professional panel.
 
"The success of In Her Likeness event is a testament to the commitment and dedication of Cincinnati Athletics," NIL Coordinator Eddie Taylor said. "The event not only provided education and resources, but also paved the way for a more inclusive and collaborative approach to NIL. This was a major steppingstone towards future success. We are committed to continuing our efforts to provide the best experience possible and empower our student-athletes with the tools they need to succeed both on and off the field."
 
The event, which was hosted inside Fifth Third Arena, was focused on educating and empowering student-athletes on how to advance their personal brand through social media, in addition to creating personal, professional, and philanthropic connections. The panel of local female professionals demonstrated different NIL elements, including how to develop a professional skill set, proactively use their platform, and understand the value of their unique personal brand.
 
The panel was moderated by Altius Sports Partners Account Executive Erin Holland and included Grace Kroner, Cincinnati Assistant AD Compliance and Administration, Maria Mallon, former Cincinnati Volleyball Student Athlete, Olivia Ray, WLWT Sports Reporter and Mary Ellen Reilly, Senior Vice President of Fifth Third Bank Investments.
 
"The In Her Likeness event allowed for the athletes to learn more about enhancing their personal brands, understanding the importance of money management, and how to get started in their NIL journey," Holland added. "It was an energizing evening for everyone!"
