CINCINNATI -- The Cincinnati lacrosse team earned a bid to the AAC Championships this weekend, and the Bearcats will take on No. 5 and top-seeded James Madison at 4:30 p.m. ET Thursday at Temple's Howarth Field.
The nightcap features Florida against East Carolina. UC claimed its bid by virtue of Vanderbilt's win over Temple in Nashville Saturday.
UC (11-6, 3-3 AAC) boasted a four-game improvement from last year's campaign. It has missed the tournament only once, in 2022. Cincinnati hosted the inaugural event at Sheakley Athletics Center in 2019, where it defeated Temple before falling to Florida in the title game.
All games will air on ESPN+, including Saturday's championship game at 12 p.m. ET.
