CINCINNATI – Atlanta Falcons quarterback Desmond Ridder improved his team to 2-0 and Cleveland Browns running back Jerome Ford shined on Monday Night Football to lead the way for former Bearcats in Week Two of NFL action.
 
Ridder completed 19 of 32 passes for a career-high 237 yards and a touchdown, in addition to 39 rushing yards and another score on the ground, leading the Falcons to a 25-24 win over the Green Bay Packers. Ford turned in 16 carries for a career-high 106 yards and hauled in three receptions for 25 yards along with a touchdown. Ford also gave Bearcats' fans flashbacks when he ripped off a 69-yard run against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
 
Ford will look to step in as the Brown's lead back in the absence of Nick Chubb.
 
Overall, 17 former Bearcats suited up over the weekend.
 
The standout Kelce brothers both had big contributions in wins for their teams.
 
Kansas City Chief's All-Pro tight end Travis Kelce made his season debut after missing week one with a knee injury and made his presence felt immediately with four receptions for 26 yards and a touchdown in a 27-17 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
 
Thursday night's primetime game featured a pair of former Bearcats in Minnesota Vikings linebacker Ivan Pace Jr. and Philadelphia Eagles All-Pro center Jason Kelce.
