- Cincinnati (8-5, 0-2 Big 12) suffered its second consecutive Big 12 loss, falling to No. 24-ranked West Virginia, 68-53, on Wednesday night in Morgantown, W.Va. All five of the Bearcats' losses this season have come to top-25 programs.
- Senior Jillian Hayes turned in her fifth double-double of the season, 18th of her career, with game highs in points (18) and rebounds (11) vs. WVU. She went 6-of-13 from the floor and 6-of-8 from the charity stripe. Her five double-doubles are the fifth-most in the Big 12 and 42nd-most in the country.
- Redshirt junior Ta'Ziah Jenks played a season-high 21 minutes vs. West Virginia. She posted nine points (3-7 FG) and three rebounds. Sophomore A'riel Jackson added nine points (3-7 FG), two assists and a steal.
- Hayes is averaging nearly a double-double with 12.9 points and 8.7 rebounds and is shooting 51% from the field this season. She sits sixth in the Big 12 and 65th nationally in rebounds per game (8.7).
- Hayes is 12 rebounds away from 700 in her career. She is looking to become the eighth player in program history to record 1,000+ points and 700+ rebounds for their career.
- Senior Malea Williams is averaging 9.3 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.0 block and is shooting 42% from the field this season. She sits ninth in the Big 12 in blocks (1.00) and 13th in rebounding (6.8).
- Hayes is averaging 16.0 points and 10.0 rebounds and is shooting 50% from the field and 75% from the charity stripe in Big 12 play.
- Five Bearcats have missed at least one game this season due to injury. The Bearcats were without three of their starters in their Big 12 opener vs. Kansas State.
- The Bearcats are 7-2 when they outrebound their opponent. UC sits 21st in the country in offensive rebounds per game (15.8). The Bearcats won the rebounding battle in each of their first two Big 12 contests (+5.0).
- Cincinnati has made 291 trips to the free throw line this season, making 216 of its attempts (.742). The free throw percentage is good for second in the league and 80th in the country.
- The Bearcats sit first in the Big 12 and 13th nationally in free throws made per game (16.6). UC is 8-2 when it makes more free throws than its opponent.

- UC ranks 19th in the nation in three-point field goal defense, holding its opponents to 24.7% from behind the arc.
- The Bearcats finished non-conference play with an 8-3 record for their best non-conference winning percentage (72.7%) in 15 years. UC won six consecutive games during the stretch for its longest win streak since 2019-20.
- The Bearcats' 18-game conference slate features nine home contests inside Fifth Third Arena and eight game versus teams that advanced to the 2023 NCAA Tournament. Cincinnati will face Kansas, Kansas State, Oklahoma and Texas Tech for the first time in program history.
