Track and Field Returns to Action with Trip to Louisville

The University of Cincinnati men's and women's track and field teams are back in action this weekend as the program heads to Louisville, Ky., to compete in the 2024 Rod McCravy Memorial Meet.

CINCINNATI— The University of Cincinnati men's and women's track and field teams are back in action this weekend as the program heads to Louisville, Ky., to compete in the 2024 Rod McCravy Memorial Meet.
 
The meet is hosted by Kentucky but held inside Louisville's Norton Sports & Learning Center on Jan. 12-13. On Friday, field events will begin at noon, followed by track events starting at 3 p.m., while Saturday's field events will start at 11 a.m. followed by track events beginning at noon.

Twelve D1 schools from across the country will be making the trip to Louisville, including fellow Big 12 opponents Texas and UCF. The UC men's and women's teams will be at full strength as 47 Bearcats are scheduled to compete throughout the weekend.

Before going into the winter break, Cincinnati recorded nine UC all-time top-10 marks at the Indiana Early Bird Meet on Dec. 8. Freshman Davenae Fagan and Juliette Laracuente-Huebner shined in their UC debuts. Fagan ran two UC all-time top 10 times, and Laracuente-Huebner recorded the fifth-best long jump in program history.

The Bearcats will head to Bloomington, Ind., for the second time this season to compete in the Indiana Invitational on Jan 19-20, inside the Gladstien Fieldhouse. Cincinnati began the indoor season in Bloomington competing in the Indiana Early Bird Meet.
