CINCINNATI — The University of Cincinnati women's soccer team and head coach Erica Demers announced their spring schedule on Thursday.
The Bearcats have five matches (two home and three road) lined up during the season, including three that are a part of the Spring Cup.
The Spring Cup is a round-robin style tournament that features 12 teams (3 teams in 4 brackets) that will play two group round games before moving on to the championship rounds. Cincinnati is in Group 1, along with Dayton and Ohio. The full spring cup group list can be found below.
The Bearcats will begin the spring with their first Spring Cup group game against Dayton at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 1 inside Getter Stadium.
After a three-week break, Cincinnati will host its final home spring game as the team will welcome Toledo to Gettler Stadium on Saturday, March 23, with kickoff at 7 p.m.
Cincinnati will also host its annual Prospect ID Camp prior to the Toledo game. More information about the camp and where to sign up can be found here.
The Bearcats will close out the spring season with three straight road games – kickoff times for all three matches will be released at a later date.
Cincinnati will travel up to Athens for its second Spring Cup group game against Ohio on Saturday, March 30. The Bearcats will then head over to Richmond, Ky., to face Eastern Kentucky and Cumberlands in two 45-minute matches on Saturday, April 7.
The Spring Cup Championships Tournament will be held April 13th at Grand Park in Indianapolis, Ind.
More information about the tournament schedule will be released after group play is complete.
