CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati swimming and diving program returns to Keating Aquatic Center for its final home meet of the season against Xavier on Friday, Jan. 19.
The diving competition will begin at 1 p.m, while the swimming portion starts at 3 p.m.

The program will honor 11 seniors including Jon Osa, Jason Allen, Jessica Davis, Tommy Eaton, Alex Gonzalez, Hunter Gubeno, Drew Harris, Drew Hawthorne, Logan Lawhorn, Thomas Matthew and Ricky Williams.
The Senior Day recognition will commence at 2:30 p.m. with the swimming portion of competition to follow.
// CROSSTOWN RIVALS
This will be the 14th meeting between the two programs, with the first dating back to 2009.
Last season, the Bearcats swept the Musketeers and earned 22 event wins. Gubeno won three individual events and was the lead swimmer of the winning 200-yard medley relay.
The women's 200-yard medley team of Grace Gavin, Kaylee Nagel, Joleigh Crye and Jessica Davis claimed the victory with a time of 1:43.71.
Crye went on to take first place in the 100-yard butterfly.
// STARTING 2024 ON A HIGH NOTE
Cincinnati earned 20 event wins in a sweep of Miami (OH) on Jan. 12 inside Corwin M. Nixon Aquatic Center.
The men dominated the competition, taking down the RedHawks 189-111, while the women prevailed 154-146.
The women won the 1000-yard freestyle, taking the top three spots. Freshman Libby Michel grabbed the win (10:23.50) with junior Annabelle Young (10:30.61) and sophomore Ingrid Fretz (10:33.92) right behind.
Cincinnati took control in the men's 200-yard backstroke with Gubeno finishing first (1:48.85), Joseph Swain in second (1:51.08), Drew Harris in third (1:53.68) and Brennan Muramatsu in fourth (1:54.56).

Cincinnati will wrap up the regular season in back-to-back dual meets against Kentucky on Feb. 2 and Louisville, on Feb. 3.
