CINCINNATI – Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce will play in his sixth consecutive AFC Championship Game, keeping the Chiefs' Super Bowl hopes alive.
Kelce found his way back into the endzone for the first time since Week 10 with his fellow former Bearcat brother Jason Kelce cheering him on shirtless in Buffalo's freezing winds. The Chiefs' Pro Bowl tight end hauled in five receptions for 75 yards and two touchdowns in a tight 27-24 victory over the Buffalo Bills.
Travis Kelce now has 145 postseason receptions, trailing only Hall of Fame receiver Jerry Rice (151) for the most catches in NFL playoffs history.
Green Bay Packers tight end Josiah Deguara saw snaps, while linebacker Eric Wilson had a critical fumble recovery with 7:23 left in the third quarter, while San Francisco was in the lead 14-13. Packers cornerback Keisean Nixon broke off an impressive 73-yard punt return, before fumbling.
Wilson was hustling right behind Nixon, where he would dive to recover the muffed ball. Keeping the Packers in supreme field position, at San Francisco's 20-yard line. Green Bay went on to score a few plays later, giving the Packers a 21-14 lead with 5:23 left in the third quarter. Unfortunately, the Packers couldn't hold on to the lead as they ultimately fell to the 49ers, 24-21.
Additionally, Houston Texans linebacker Myjai Sanders recorded a tackle vs the Baltimore Ravens.
