CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati women's basketball team hosts No. 23-ranked Oklahoma for its annual Play4Kay game on Tuesday night. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m. inside Fifth Third Arena.

  • Cincinnati used a 9-0 run to start the fourth quarter, but the rally came up short in a 79-72 loss to TCU on Saturday. UC is minus-28 in the third quarter over its last three games (61-33). Conversely, the Bearcats are plus-15 in the fourth quarter (65-50).
  • The Bearcats (12-13, 4-10 Big 12) sit in 12th place in the Big 12 standings with four league games remaining. Oklahoma (18-7, 12-2 Big 12) enters Tuesday's game in sole possession of first place. 
  • Sophomore A'riel Jackson led four Bearcats in double figures with 19 points vs. TCU, tying her career high. She went a career-best 10-of-11 from the free throw line. She has scored in double figures five times in the last seven games and is averaging 11.1 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.4 assists during the stretch. 
  • Junior Braylyn Milton scored 15 points behind a career-high-tying five three-pointers (5-7 3FG) vs. TCU.
  • Senior Jillian Hayes nearly recorded a double-double with 14 points and a team-high nine boards vs. TCU. She is averaging 15.2 points, 11.2 rebounds, 1.6 steals and 1.4 blocks over the last five games.
  • Freshman Reagan Jackson is averaging 10.3 points and 3.0 rebounds and is shooting 39.7% from the field (25-63 FG) in her last seven games. She has scored in double figures 10 times this season.
  • Hayes is averaging nearly a double-double with 12.6 points and 8.7 rebounds and is shooting 42.8% from the field this season. She sits third in the Big 12 and 65th nationally in rebounding (8.7).
  • Senior Malea Williams sits seventh in the Big 12 in blocks per game (1.0). She has recorded seven multi-block performances and has led the team in blocks 12 times this season. She currently ranks sixth in blocks (91) in program history.
  • Hayes is fifth all-time at UC in career rebounds with 793 boards. She is seven rebounds away from becoming just the fifth player in program history to reach 800 in their career.
  • Cincinnati has outrebounded its opponent in 17 games this season and has either won or matched the rebounding battle in 11 of its 14 Big 12 contests (+2.6 margin). The Bearcats were plus-six in rebounding vs. TCU (41-35) and pulled down 13 offensive boards.
  • UC sits second in the league and 20th in the country in offensive rebounds per game (14.8). In Big 12 games only, the Bearcats lead the league with 13.4 offensive boards per game. Cincinnati has recorded 20-plus offensive rebounds in three Big 12 games.

Conversely, the Bearcats are 1-13 when trailing at the break, and 1-13 when trailing with five minutes to go.
