The Marengo, Ohio native qualified for the NCAA Indoor Championships after scoring 4,134 points, the second most in program history, at the Big 12 Indoor Track and Field Championships on Feb. 23.

"We are really excited for Juliette, who, as a freshman has qualified for the NCAA Indoor Championships," head coach Susan Seaton said. "The future looks very bright for this young athlete and we can't wait to see her compete on a national level."

Laracuente-Huebner's score is the 15th-best point total in the NCAA this season, and she will be the only freshman to compete in the event at the NCAA Championships.

She is also the only underclassman with a pentathlon score ranked inside the top 16 and the only freshman with a score inside the top 46 in the NCAA. The complete list of qualifiers can be found here.

She will join former Bearcat Jasmine Cotten as the only Cincinnati women to ever qualify for the NCAA Indoor Championships in the pentathlon. Cotten competed in the event twice in her career, once in 2009 and earned All-America First Team honors in 2012.
