CINCINNATI – The Cincinnati lacrosse team welcomes No. 6 James Madison to Nippert Stadium, Saturday at 11 a.m. for its Multiple Myeloma Awareness Game.
Multiple Myeloma is a rare blood cancer that affected Assistant Coach Haley Hardy (formerly Marvine).
Hardy lettered at Cincinnati over the program's first four years (2008-11), including gaining captain duties. She was hired as Radford's first-ever lacrosse coach in October 2014, leading the program from 2016-21 before returning to Clifton in July 2021 to lead UC's defenders and goalkeepers.
Cincinnati (8-3, 1-0) sits second in the AAC.
The Bearcats boasted national rankings in several different categories including sixth in the nation in scoring defense (7.91 G/GM) and 16th in scoring average (15.18 G/GM).
