TicketsCINCINNATI – University of Cincinnati assistant coach Kabrina Merriweather has been named a Thirty Under 30 honoree, the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) announced on Thursday.
Merriweather primarily works with the posts unit and leads all cultural development. She has been selected to the list for the second consecutive year.
The WBCA Thirty Under 30 program was created to recognize 30 up-and-coming women's basketball coaches aged 30 and under at all levels of the game. Each honoree has exemplified their involvement in community service, mentorship and impact on others, professional manner, and attitude and professional association involvement.
Her work with the Bearcats' posts led Cincinnati to finish the season ranked 22nd nationally in offensive rebounds per game (14.5), 54th in total rebounding (39.66) and 55th in rebounding margin (+5.0).
