TicketsNORMAN, Okla. – The University of Cincinnati women's tennis team (5-5) fell to No. 20 Oklahoma, 7-0, on Friday at the Headington Family Tennis Center.
The Bearcats dropped the doubles point.
Oklahoma's pair of Chloé Noël and Ava Catanzarite won against the freshman duo of Sakurako Watanabe and Morgan Pyrz, 6-0.
The doubles point was determined on court two. The Sooners Zdena Safarova and Julia Garcia Ruiz defeated graduate student Victoire de Samucewicz and junior Callie Flanagan, 7-5.
In singles, the Sooners won all six matches. Flanagan fought hard against Emma Staker. Flanagan dropped the first set 6-2 but battled back taking the second set, winning 7-5. She was unable to build off the momentum in the second set, losing the third set 1-0(2).

The Bearcats will travel to Texas to take on the Longhorns on Sunday, March 10, at the Texas Tennis Center. First serve against the Longhorns is set for 12 p.m. ET.
