CINCINNATI – The Cincinnati lacrosse team fell to No. 19 Florida inside Nippert Stadium on Saturday, 18-6.
The Bearcats' first goal of the day came from senior Lindsey Durkota halfway through the first quarter. She finished with three, earning her first hat trick of the season.
The Gators took a 14-4 lead heading into the half, initiating a running clock. Cincinnati couldn't find a way to bounce back, being held to just two goals in the second half.
Freshman Hailey Joy Simpson and senior Ava Goeller were able to find the back of the net late in the third and fourth quarter.
