HOCKLEY, Texas. – The University of Cincinnati women's golf team saw improvement in the final round of the Big 12 Championship on Saturday at Houston Oaks Country Club in Hockley, Texas.
Senior Paola Rosario led the Bearcats posting one-over par 72 in the final round. She carded five birdies in the tournament, and finished tied for 41st.
Freshman Maggie Huett carded a team-high seven birdies in the Big 12 Championship. She finished tied for 45th in the tournament.
Winnie Chiang (T53rd), Mar García Jiménez (T55th) and Lauren Pleiman (62nd) followed in order.
The Bearcats shot a tournament-low 300 in the third round of the tournament. UC finished in 13th place with a team score of 915. Texas won the Big 12 Championship with a team score of 851. Liyana Durisic and Karisa Chul-Ak-Sorn from Iowa State both took home a share of the individual title with a score of 207.
