LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The University of Cincinnati track and field program closed out in its final outdoor regular season meet of the year on Saturday, as Bearcats claimed four event wins at the Clark Wood Invitational.

Leading the way for the Bearcats was sophomore Robert Hart as he leaped 7.84m / 25' 8.75" in the men's long jump competition and finished second overall. His new personal best jump is now the second-best mark in program history.

Hart joined elite UC long jump company as he is the first Bearcat to clear 7.81m since former Bearcat James White did in 2004. The only Bearcat to best Hart's mark is six-time All-American Al Lanier, who jumped 8.04m / 26' 4.5" in 1973.

The hurdling duo of freshman Juliette Laracuente-Huebner and graduate student Hannah Connell each ran a UC top-10 time in the women's 100m hurdles. Laracuente-Huebner clocked a time of 13.64 in the preliminary round, which is tied for the seventh-best time in program history. She would finish fifth overall after running a 13.67 in the finals.

Connell turned it up a notch in the finals as she finished second overall with a time of 13.65 in the finals, which is the ninth-best time in school history.

Also sprinting their way into the record book was senior Naquille Harris. In the men's 100m dash, Harris matched his personal best time of 10.18 to finish second overall. His time is the second-best mark in school history.

Noah Thomas threw a personal best in the men's hammer throw for the fourth consecutive meet. He placed second overall in the event with a mark of 60.32m / 197' 10, the fourth-best throw in school history.

The graduate transfer is now the fourth Bearcat in school history ever to record a throw over 60 meters. The last Bearcat to achieve the feat was Sam Meece, who broke the school record in 2019 with a throw of 62.30m / 204' 5".

Also moving up in school history was junior Abby Knouff as she cleared an outdoor personal best bar clearance of 4.18m / 13' 8.5", the fourth best mark in school history. Her mark also ranks in the top 20 in the NCAA East Region this season.

Sophomore Mallory Mullen had her best meet of the season as she cleared a personal best bar height of 1.76m / 5' 9.25", the ninth-best mark in school history, in the seeded high jump section. She placed second overall in the event.

Cincinnati started the meet off with a bang as Bearcats finished 1-2 in the men's 800m. Senior Jack Barchet claimed his first event win season after placing first in the men's 800m with a time of 1:51.40, and graduate student Jed Helker placed second with a personal best time of 1:51.56.

The women's 4x100m relay team of Hannah Connell, Alicia Thorpe, Camiyah James, and Davenae Fagan took home first place with a time of 45.51.

Senior Hannah Jackson picked up her first event win of the season in women's shot put as she placed first with a mark of 14.32m / 46' 11.75".

Sophomore Camden Beatty continued Cincinnati's winning ways, placing first in the men's 400m hurdles with a time of 53.17.
