CINCINNATI— The University of Cincinnati track and field program had 15 athletes qualify for NCAA competition as NCAA East First Round and Outdoor Track and Field Championship combined event participants were both announced on Thursday.
 
Thirteen Bearcats,  seven men six women, qualified for NCAA East First Round action in 14 different events. The complete list of first round qualifiers can be found here.
 
Combined event athletes Dominique Hall (decathlon) and Juliette Laracuente-Huebner (heptathlon) record-setting performances at the Big 12 Championships were enough to qualify them for NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Hall will be the first UC decathlete to compete at the championships since 2021, while Laracuente-Huebner will be the first UC woman to compete in the heptathlon since 2012.
 
For individual event entries, the top 48 declared student-athletes were accepted into the first-round competitions. For combined event entries, the top 24 declared student-athletes in each event, based on their position on the national descending-order list, will be accepted directly into the Championships. // NCAA EAST FIRST ROUNDS (May 22-25)
The NCAA first rounds run Wednesday, May 22 through Saturday, May 25. Both the DI men's and women's first rounds are held simultaneously. The meets will be held in two locations for the east and west regions. The NCAA East First Round will be located in Lexington, Kentucky, with Kentucky serving as the host school. 
 
The men's first-round events will be held on Wednesday and Friday, while the women's events will be held on Thursday and Saturday. The complete event schedule can be found here.
