CINCINNATI – The National Association for Athletics Compliance (NAAC) has announced that Director of Compliance Robbie Trittschuh has been awarded the prestigious 2024 Rising Star Award.
The Rising Star Award recognizes young compliance professionals who are emerging leaders within the compliance profession. Trittschuh is one of only two recipients honored with the recognition this year. This marks the second time in the last four years a member of the UC compliance department has won the award (Grace Kroner in 2020).
The award winners will be recognized during the 2024 NAAC Convention taking place at the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Trittschuh's journey in athletics compliance includes valuable experiences at East Carolina University and the University of South Alabama, before he took on his current role at the University of Cincinnati. He expertly manages the daily compliance affairs for baseball, men's golf, track & field and cross country, contributing significantly to the integrity and excellence of Cincinnati Athletics. He will transition to compliance oversight of football this summer.
Originally from Van Wert, Ohio, Trittschuh holds a bachelor's degree in business from the University of Cincinnati, where he was actively involved with Bearcat Bands. He earned his law degree from Northern Kentucky University and is an active member of NAAC's Membership and Awards Committee. Trittschuh is also a licensed member of the Ohio State Bar.
