LEXINGTON, Ky. — The University of Cincinnati track and field program closed out its week at the NCAA East First Rounds in Lexington on Saturday.

Closing out the week for the Bearcats at the regional was sophomore Spirit Morgan and junior Annika Kinley in the women's high jump.

Morgan cleared an outdoor personal best bar height of 1.81m / 5' 11.25" and finished 13th overall, one spot away from punching her ticket to the NCAA Championships for the first time in her career.

The Floridian had quite the season as she earned All-Big 12 honors at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships and her new personal best mark moved her to sixth all-time in school history.

Junior Annika Kinley made her third straight NCAA East First Round appearance as she finished 41st in the high jump with a mark of 1.71m / 5' 7.25".

On Friday, Junior Abby Knouff placed fifth overall after clearing an outdoor personal best mark of 4.30m / 14' 1.25" and punched her ticket to Oregon. She will now be the first Bearcat woman to compete in the women's pole vault at the NCAA Championships since Alyssa McBride did in 2016.

The Tallmadge, Ohio native's new outdoor personal best is the second-best mark in program history. Knouff holds the indoor school record with a mark of 4.32m / 14' 2".

Knouff will join Dominique Hall (decathlon) and Juliette Laracuente-Huebner (heptathlon), who were announced as qualifiers last week, at the championships on June 5-8 in Eugene, Ore.
