CINCINNATI – University of Cincinnati track and field senior Naquille Harris will look to qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games for St. Kitts and Nevis this week when he competes at the Jamaican Track and Field Olympic Trials.
Harris, school record holder in the 60m dash, will run under NACAC solidarity and look for an additional opportunity to meet the Olympic standard time of 10.00 seconds or faster in the 100m dash. He has run a 10.18 wind-assisted time and 10.25 legal time in the event.
The men's 100m heats will begin at 9 a.m. on Thursday. The 2024 Jamaican Track and Field Olympic Trials will be held June 27-30 at the National Stadium in Kingston. Live coverage will be provided on the Jamaica Athletics website.
