CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati athletics department announced its top team and student-athlete awards following the 2023-24 season.

Each recipient is voted on by the athletics executive leadership team. Finalists are included below.

ONE TEAM Award
Women's Soccer: Highest Team GPA among female teams; First Big 12 victory and first big 12 post-season victory; Leaders in community outreach and Academy commitments; Positive presence on and off the field and throughout our building

Team of the Year
Baseball: Picked last in Big 12, finished 5th; Season sweep of TCU; Won series over Super Regional West Virginia; Wins over Oklahoma and Texas in the last week of the series; First Four Out on the NCAA Selection Show Monday; Over 30 wins in the first season of a new coaching staff

Female Athlete of the Year Nominees:

Juliette Laracuente-Huebner: Second Team All-American – Indoor Pentathlon; Was the only Bearcat to qualify for the NCAA Indoor Championships; Was the only Underclassmen (Fr, or So.) to qualify for the pentathlon at the championships; Recorded five UC Program all-time top 10 marks during the indoor season; Earned All-Big 12 Honors at the Indoor Big 12 Championships after placing fourth in the pentathlon; Broke the school heptathlon school record at the Big 12 championships (5637 points); Finished fourth at the Big 12 Championships in the heptathlon, earning All-Big 12 honors; NCAA Championship Outdoor Qualifier - only freshman to qualify for the event; Second Team Outdoor All-American – Outdoor Heptathlon
