TicketsCINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati volleyball team has received the American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Award sponsored by INTENT, the organization announced on Wednesday.
The Bearcats received the honor for the 10th consecutive year after compiling a 3.7224 GPA during the 2023-24 academic year. The team also earned the additional distinction of AVCA Team Academic Honor Roll, representing the top 20% of GPAs nationally by division.
The award, initiated in the 1992–93 academic year, honors collegiate and high school volleyball teams that display excellence in the classroom by maintaining at least a 3.30 cumulative team GPA. The Bearcats are one of 1,400 programs that were honored this year nationally.
