CINCINNATI – Women's soccer freshman Rylee Felton earned Co-Freshman of the Week, the league announced Wednesday.
This is Felton's first Big 12 weekly accolade of her career and the first for Cincinnati this season.
The Milford, Mich. native has had a stellar debut season, recording goals in three of the last four games for the Bearcats, including the equalizing goal against Louisville and two goals vs. Eastern Michigan.
She holds the No. 14 spot nationally for goals scored and is the second-highest-scoring rookie in the country. The freshman leads Cincinnati with five goals and a .583 SOG%.
Felton and the Bearcats are back in action Thursday inside Gettler Stadium as they take on Butler at 7 p.m.
