CINCINNATI– The University of Cincinnati women's golf team opens the 2024-25 season with the Powercat Invitational on Monday and Tuesday.
The tournament will take place at the par-72, 6,439-yard Colbert Hills Golf Club in Manhattan, Kansas. The first two rounds will be on Monday and the final round will be on Tuesday. All three rounds will have a shotgun start at 9 a.m. ET. Live scoring will be available at Scoreboard.Clippd.com
The Bearcats' lineup consists of sophomore Maggie Huett, junior Rim Imni, junior Mar García Jiménez, graduate student Ruby Chou and junior Winnie Chiang.
Winnie Chiang is coming off a strong sophomore season with her best finish at The Judson where she tied for fifth place. She competed in every tournament in the 2023-24 season with an average stroke of 76.46.
In addition to Cincinnati, the 16-team field includes host Kansas State, Austin Peay, Bethune-Cookman, Bowling Green, Central Arkansas, Dayton, Houston Christian, Incarnate Word, Jacksonville State, North Dakota, North Texas, Northern Colorado, Southern Miss, UTRGV and Wichita State.
