MANHATTAN, Kan. – The University of Cincinnati women's golf team battled windy conditions on the first 36 holes of the Powercat Invitational on Monday at the Colbert Hills Golf Club.
Graduate student Ruby Chou led the Bearcats, carding an eagle on the 13th hole. She also shot four birdies in the two rounds played today. She currently sits tied for 19th place.
Junior Yu-Wei Chiang carded a team-best five birdies for UC today. She sits tied for 33rd place entering the final round tomorrow
Mar García Jiménez (T41), Maggie Huett (T48) and Rim Imni (T73) follow in order.
UC sits tied for ninth place at 45 over par. Kansas State leads the way at five over par.
The final round will take place tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. ET.
