CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati baseball program and local establishment Bucketheads (6507 Harrison Ave.) are partnering to bring fans "Bischel Ball at Bucketheads" on Wednesday, Sept. 25.

Bischel Ball at Bucketheads will feature Head Coach Jordan Bischel and select players, as well as play-by-play announcer Anthony Mazzini and color analyst Zach Segal. Set to begin at 6:00 p.m., the event will give fans a chance to hear the Bearcats discuss their successful 2024 season, UC's fall ball schedule, the upcoming 2025 season, competing in the Big 12 Conference, and more. There will be an opportunity to ask questions in a Q&A segment as well.

A second Bischel Ball at Bucketheads event is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 23.

In Bischel's first season in 2024, Cincinnati posted a 32-25 overall record and a 17-13 mark in conference play, the program's first 30-win season since 2019. UC finished the regular season in fifth place in the Big 12 after being picked to finish in last in the preseason coaches poll.

Bischel successfully implemented his style of play and saw his players buy in as well. The Bearcats were among the national leaders in walks (320, most in school history) and stolen bases (109) and ranked atop the league in HBP (91). Cincinnati's ability to get on base and take extra bases led to an average of 7.4 runs per game, which ranked fourth in the league.

Cincinnati's first official practice of the fall is set for Thursday, Sept. 12. More information regarding the Bearcats' fall schedule and any exhibition games or intersquad scrimmages will be available later this week.
